Characteristics and applications of NBR rubber compounds


NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) compound, also known as Buna-N, is a synthetic rubber material widely used in various industrial applications due to its excellent resistance to oil, fuel, and other chemicals. Here are some key characteristics and applications of NBR rubber compounds:

1. Chemical Resistance: NBR rubber compounds exhibit exceptional resistance to oils, fuels, greases, hydraulic fluids, and many other chemicals. This makes them suitable for use in environments where exposure to such substances is common, such as automotive, aerospace, and oil and gas industries.
